A different Lady Gaga
I was going through an article in a magazine about problems faced by Stefani O Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady gaga recently. After reading her story my views have changed or I should say I have become even more positive about her to great extent.
She was born in New York, America in the family of Joseph Anthony and Cynthia Luis and she was physical abused when she was only nineteen. Although, I read about it only recently but she revealed her story of pain a couple of years before and how it changed her entire life.
She was a normal girl living happily with her younger sister Natalie in a normal family with her father working in an internet company and mother as an ordinary worker in a telecom company but she had no regrets as their parents had given them freedom to live their lives as per their own choice.
She got a piano
Gaga got a piano as a surprise gift at her thirteenth birthday by his father buying it by taking advance from his office. It was a real joy for her as Baby Gaga really loved music more than her studies at school. She wrote her first song at the age of thirteen and by the time she was 14 she had started singing for a music club. By the way she played the role of a naughty girl in a TV serial “The Sopranos” in 2001 the season 3, 9th episode at the age of 15. The role was small but it gave her ideas for future.
At the age of 17, Lady gaga joined Tisch School of the Arts, New York and you will find it interesting that according to Gaga her school mates did not like her appearance as she thought she had an awkward long nose and fat and she does not hesitate accepting the fact that she had no friends in school. However she succeeded in touching new heights in her musical career and managed to release albums at regular intervals.
She loved music right from her childhood
Stefani O Joanne Angelina Germanotta now Lady Gaga looks back at her life and explained how she felt when she used to hear piano during morning prayers and music session in her school and she absolutely loved the sound of the instrument. She even insisted her father to buy a piano for her personal use but he always smiled off her request for lack of money. She did not give up her desire but managed to learn how to play piano in her school itself.
The rape incident
But it was that ugly incident of rape by a person from musical industry itself that changed her life forever. She kept that secret to herself for long time but that changed her lifestyle. She wanted to cry but she was supported by her mother during her difficult time. Now she feels one should not hide his or her pain but face their difficult times boldly.
Moral of the story- One should face the life and its difficulties no matter what happened in your past.
